When we bought our first dog many years ago I could not have known what it would have lead to or the direction that our lives would take. We fell in love with that puppy right away. We loved him for 10 years just like our children only a little different but not by much. He was spoiled. When we lost him on his 10th birthday it left a huge hole in our hearts. We then found a dog on the road. We took her home and placed adds and posters but she was clearly on her own and had been for some time. That dog lead us to opening our home and hearts to a dog and cat rescue and a sanctuary for those that are not adoptable for the past several years. Seeing these animals that have faced some incredible odds get a better life and adopted back to loving families is the most rewarding experience. Of course we could not do this without finding ways to save on the supplies we need.
